Founded in 1997, the Black Star News is an investigative news website which earned reputation from  The Wall Street Journal, The Daily News, The New York Post, and many more.

For a website which is 24x7 updating its content, it is challenging to become a market leader in news and media world.

Today’s modern age news website need bold looks, compelling designs and the best content management system to put all news stories together in a fashion that a user must stick to the site.

We were glad to find their requirements and were lucky enough to work on a project related to the news world.

The core solution we offered them was moving the old website to Drupal 7. As a result, the leading news source for the African - American community got a new site with the same domain.

We also helped to bring it a more personal element using author biographies and integrated social media plugin buttons to spread and share the content globally.
